COMPANY GOAL
I wanted to create a brand that supported others’ mental well being by helping facilitate a creation of mindfulness in their day-to-day lives. To do so, I began to share my ink drawings inspired by my personal yoga practice to help others find a way to navigate the nuances of life with a baseline awareness of one’s self and one’s mental state. At the end of the day, I created Mind & Company to encourage others to ‘Fill Your Mind With Good Company.’
TYPOGRAPHY
The movement of my line drawings is organic and fluid, so I wanted to use a font that felt the same way. I paired Art-Nuvo with a simpler, more mature font, Glacial-Indifference, to ground the company’s appearance.

My methodology of how to create mindfulness is accomplished through the concept that your mind and your thoughts are two different entities. I wanted to incorporate this idea into the brand’s name and slogan to spark the audiences’ curiosity in a way that allows them to understand the general meaning behind my brand’s message, while also having the opportunity to learn more as they ask deeper questions.

LOGO
Inspiration for the logo is rooted in the yin & yang symbol, and I wanted to create a design that was simple yet representative of the powerful impact awareness has on mental health.
WEB DESIGN
Abstract faces with natural elements growing out of them are Mind & Co.’s signature design, so I was sure to incorporate them on the landing page to make it feel recognizable and familiar.
PRODUCT DESIGN
I decided to match the back of my business cards to the background image of the landing page to create brand consistency and familiarity. The QR code on the front links customers to Mind & Co.’s Linktree. I also designed greeting cards (dubbed “Love Notes”), stickers, art prints, journals, and more.
